Rainy Days and Sundays

Last night when I was planning what I would do today I wanted to wear a dress and to go skateboarding. This morning was rainy and both my dreams for today looked bleak as the clouds. Luckily by late afternoon it was 25˚ and beautifully sunny which set us up for the thunderstorm outside now. So while I wore pants, I had a good skate and even got in some painting and sewing today!

Unbelievably, I was even able to finish something. I made this t-shirt out of some really cheap silver drapery material. It looks ok over black tank top and jeans although actually using the pocket makes the light fabric distort and drags the whole shirt to one side. It's nice and stiff otherwise and the more silver I wear the happier I am.
Also, I'm in the middle of reading a fantastic book by Umberto Eco and I've got cool looking new French Vogue and Anthem to cruise through. I spent the whole weekend with my little sister and planned a picnic for Wednesday.
It was a very alright Sunday, and this week looks promising too!
